Emily Armstrong is a strategic brand advisor and innovative marketer with a rare blend of experience across financial services, technology, startups, health & wellness, and creative agencies. As the Founder of Wonderlab Strategy, she helps financial advisors and firms clarify their message, sharpen their digital presence, and evolve into modern market leaders.

Emily’s roots run deep within Northwestern Mutual, where she served as both a financial advisor and a CMO-level marketing director. She built and scaled a reputable financial planning brand in Boulder, CO by creating proprietary deliverables, client experiences, and growth systems grounded in research, data, and innovation. Her work inside the firm quickly earned recognition for challenging outdated playbooks and pushing the boundaries of what modern marketing could look like in a legacy industry.

With a background that spans brand strategy, design, digital marketing, and business development, Emily brings a multidisciplinary, future-oriented lens to every engagement. Her approach combines sharp strategic thinking with human-centered storytelling — helping advisors and service professionals stand out with clarity, confidence, and authenticity.

Personally, Emily is a wife, a mom of two boys (Adger and George), an avid reader and traveler, a passionate home cook and wannabe sommelier, and a die-hard CU Buffs fan. She is fueled by faith, love for her family, community, and team, and is driven by a deep belief in the power of meaningful work done with integrity and heart.

Eric is a rare right-and-left-brain powerhouse — part creative visionary, part engineering mind, and 100% Wonderlab genius. Eric is Emily’s brother and takes Emily’s big ideas and turns them into beautifully built, technically sound realities.

He built a remarkable career as a professional dancer in Los Angeles, performing on world stages with artists like Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, and Dua Lipa to name a few, and is a sought-after choreographer in the dance world. His artistry, discipline, and creative edge shape the way he approaches everything he builds.

In addition to his creative work, Eric is pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree at Yale University, bringing an analytical rigor and problem-solving brilliance that elevates every project he touches. There’s practically nothing he can’t learn, build, or master — which is exactly why he’s the perfect yin to Emily’s yang.

When he’s not dancing, studying, or designing something new, you can find Eric exploring a new corner of the world, working on his beloved car, sipping a perfectly made pour-over, or in a dance studio working on new moves.
